David Hood and Jackie Wilson participated. David Hood placed 3rd overall, 2nd on age %, 1st M55+ in the 10km Run (41:56) and Jackie Wilson placed 3rd overall, 1st on age %, 1st W65+ in the 10km Walk (67:48).

Club member Jacqueline Wilson particpated in the Oceania Masters Championships in Rarotonga, Cook Islands.

5000m Race Walk - 31:47, 2nd MW65-69 (Silver medal) and NZ & Wellington Masters Records
3000m Race Walk - 18:57.97, 2nd MW65-69 (Silver medal).

Sarah Garnder was the 1st Women in the 10km (39:08).
Joseph Antcliff was 2nd male in the 10km Walk (1:12:07) and Jacqueline Wilson was 2nd female in the 10km Walk (1:06:39).

The "Trentham Rabbits" (consisting of Stephen Mair, Michael Beaumont, Braden Hodgson, Kevin Thompson & Chris Homan) sucessfully defended their 1st place for the third consecutive year, desipte Napier Harriers giving them a good challenge.

The "Trentham Greyhounds" team (consisting of David Hood, Paul Homan, Brett Wilby, Terry Bedlington, & Stuart Hood) came 5th.

Seven of our members went to Johnsonville to participate in the Masters race. Congradulations to Brian Garmonsway who set a new M35 Race/Course record of 27:20 (8km on hills), the previous record of 27:58 having stood since 1997!

Trentham Memorial Park, Upper Hutt

Rain and darkness did not deter a small field of brave runners and walkers participating in the last race of the series. The last race was held over a shorter loop to help with saftey.

Thank you to all those who helped organise and marshal during the series.

We hope to see everyone back again at next year's series.
